We started CheckMD because a simple question for a doctor shouldn't cost you half a day. We're a virtual primary care company in Denver, Colorado, connecting people with licensed providers by video or phone.
Why we exist
Most of us know the routine: you feel unwell, you call the office, the next appointment is days away, and then you sit in a waiting room for a ten-minute conversation. For a sore throat, a rash or a refill, that is a lot of effort, so people put it off.
CheckMD takes the effort out. You open the app or call, speak with a licensed provider, and leave the visit with a plan. No drive, no waiting room, no time off work.

How we work
- Licensed providers only. Every visit is with a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or therapist.
- Honest about limits. Some problems need an in-person exam. When that is the case, we say so and help you decide where to go next.
- Privacy first. Visits take place on an encrypted platform, and your information is only shared with the people involved in your care.
- Simple pricing. One yearly membership, no surprise bills for an ordinary visit.
