Telehealth without insurance
No insurance, or a high deductible? With a CheckMD membership you pay one simple yearly price and see a licensed provider by video or phone – no surprise bill for an ordinary visit.
What a visit usually costs
Without insurance, a single urgent care or clinic visit can easily cost $100 or more before tests or medicine – and pay-per-visit telehealth adds up quickly if you need care more than once a year.
A CheckMD membership works differently: you pay once a year and use video and phone visits when you need them. It is a good fit if you have no insurance, a high-deductible plan, or simply want to know your cost upfront.

Questions about cost
Do I need insurance to use CheckMD?
No. The membership is the price – you don't need insurance to join or to have a visit.
Are medicines included?
Prescriptions are written as part of your visit; the pharmacy charges for the medicine itself. Your provider can suggest lower-cost options.
Can I use an HSA or FSA card?
Many people can use HSA or FSA funds for telehealth. Check with your plan administrator.
What about lab tests?
If you need a lab test, your provider will explain where to have it done and what it may cost before you decide.
