Virtual consultations

A private video or phone visit with a licensed provider about anything from a new symptom to a question you have been meaning to ask.

What is a virtual consultation?

It is a doctor's visit over video or phone. You explain what is going on, your provider asks questions and, on video, can see what they need to. Together you agree on a plan, and a prescription can be sent to your pharmacy when it is right for you.

What to expect

  1. Before

Request a visit, choose video or phone and tell us why you are coming.

  2. During

A 10 to 20 minute conversation with a licensed provider.

  3. After

Your notes and care plan in your dashboard; prescriptions at your pharmacy.

Tips for a great visit

  • Find a quiet, well-lit, private spot.
  • Have your medicines, allergies and any recent readings (like temperature) ready.
  • Write down your questions so you don't forget them.
  • On video, be ready to show the problem: a rash, a throat, a swollen joint.

Private and secure

Visits take place on an encrypted platform. What you share stays between you and the people involved in your care.
